D.E. Films consists of a few guys (Shane Chism, Dylan Scott, Dustin Edmonson, Seth Wilson) making independent films. We are generally known for short comedic films but are not above making good drama or suspense films from time to time. We aim to please our audience and are very open to criticism to improve the quality of our films.
- Current Projects:
- We just released a comedy called " The Reckoning" .... Go watch.. we filmed it on a whim.
We just recorded the music for Half-Heart.
Half-Heart is finished and is now in post production.
A short drama called "Half-Heart" is being shot. We shot the first 3 or 4 scenes on the 27 of December with exceptional result!
Well, we have just finished a script to a dramatic piece called "Half-Heart." The script writers have put an absolutely fantastic amount of effort in making sure that this film will be as good on camera that it is on text. We need as many extras as possible for our beginning scene(funeral scene). We also have an 2 open spots for a short acting position. The first is a black market salesman. We need him to be scruffy with a hobo style to him. The second is a middle aged lady with a kind spirit. The people that get those 2 parts will receive a script so that they can capture their characters. We plan to begin shooting on December 27, 2008 and hope that all of you will come to the graveyard dressed in black and acting appropriately. We sure are excited, as this is our first dramatic short. Hope to see ya!
We just filmed a Trailer for a vampire spoof.. hope everyone enjoys it.. We know we did.
We just finished what started out as a feature length film but after running out of time, money, stamina, and interest; we just decided to wrap it up with a cop out " I'm actually gay" scene. We are still gunna put it into production with some interviews about the movie.. or the attempt at one.. As of right now, we are in the process of writing a script for a Suicide Dramatic Short Film to enter into the Tupelo Film Festival.

Attention! Everyone Should Read. ( Half-Heart shooting)
On Saturday, December 27, 2008, We will be shooting a funeral scene for our upcoming drama entitled " Half-Heart." We need as many extras as possible for this particular scene, as it is, after all, a funeral scene. Come dressed in all black and put those sad faces on! We look forward to seeing all of you there! We will begin shooting at 10:30 A.M. so be there a few minutes before to make sure you are ready!. Dress warmly also!
