About Me

I am a native New Yorker who has made a career in LA as an actor-- predominately on TV-- working on shows like TRUE BLOOD (currently), ER, NYPD BLUE and others. I have been writing, too: my play, "Prelude to a Revolution" was workshopped at The Mark Taper Forun in LA and my screenplay, "A Turn to Grace", was a semi-finalist in the Nicholl's Screenwriting Competition.

I am the oldest of four-- my family is in NY. I love dogs-- I have a four-year old lab pup named Macarena whose single joy in lfe is to chase balls-- she teaches me to keep things playful. I am a happy person who lives a simple, quiet life-- I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies. I am currently starting a film production company with the largest publisher of African-American adult fiction romance. Butterfly Rising is the first of many films our Company will produce. For me, it is a dream come true.

Butterfly Rising is dedicated to my brother, Barron Wright, who was killed five yearsago. His life-- and death-- bubbles underneath the words and will carry them onto the screen...
